Church of St. Peter and Paul
Monday, 5 January 2009As I already mentioned, I live in a little town Ivanić Grad, situated in the North West part of Croatia, some 40 kilometers to the East from Croatian capital Zagreb. For today’s “My world Tuesday” I’ll share Church of St. Peter’s and Paul, located in the center of Ivanić Grad.
This church was built in 1831. It lies on the location of an old church and fortress whose history goes back to 1387.
Around that old church (which was made of wood) town and parish has developed, which is now known as Ivanić Grad. Visit many other places around the world in My World Tuesday

Lovely old church. Interesting that they decided to build this one on the same site as an old one. Must be the perfect location!

This is a lovely church! I've heard from my friends who visited Croatia that this is a wonderful country. Your blog is a great chance for us to discover it!
