I'm also longing for spring... Winter last so long, it's sometimes rather awkward, especially when there is no sun...
So thank you for posting this flowering branch reminding us of spring! - 18 January 2009 19:47

I agree that it's time for spring. But I think we'll have to wait awhile. Thanks for giving us a peek into the future. Spring will get here!

A lovely, lovely sprig of Plum blossom! Delightful for the Northern Hemisphere winter as well our extremely hot and dry summer without a blade of grass.

the delicate blossoms of spring will soon be with you again, Here we are eating the fruit off such little branches! At our new home we have only citrus trees growing and they are only baby plants, but we have just planted 2 Tamerilla (tree tomato) plants, I guess you would never have heard of them, as I think it is a mainly New Zealand treat. fruit is bright red/purple and the taste is rather sharp, it is eaten raw with a teaspoon after being sprinkled with sugar.

Are those cherry blossoms? They're lovely. I've shared purple pansies at Sacred Ruminations and yellow ones at Happily Retired Gal this week.

Amazing what one can do with cutting out a close up. The Petunias instantly look fresh and vibrant not at all like those on their last legs in the hanging baskets. Well done.
